Surface laser cleaning technology is a new type of cleaning technology that has developed rapidly in the past ten years. Because of its many advantages, it is gradually replacing traditional surface treatment cleaning processes in many fields. It can be adapted to cleaning various surface dirt, has minimal environmental pollution, and can not damage the substrate. At present, this method has become a supplement and extension of the traditional cleaning method and has shown a broad application prospect because of its many inherent advantages.
There are currently four ways of laser cleaning.
The first type: laser dry cleaning, which uses pulsed laser direct radiation to decontaminate;
The second: laser + liquid film method, that is, first deposit a layer of liquid film on the surface of the substrate, and then use laser radiation to decontaminate;
The third method: The laser + inert gas method. While the laser is irradiated, the inert gas is blown to the surface of the substrate. When the dirt is peeled from the surface, the gas will be blown off the character immediately to avoid re-contamination and oxidation of the character;
Fourth: Use the laser to loosen the dirt and then clean it with non-corrosive chemical methods. (Mainly use the cleaning of stone cultural relics)
